How to turn a screen recording into a GIF

1. Trim the clip

   to the essential few seconds (drag the blue handles on the Clip row).

2. Cut waiting

   with Smart Edit. GIFs get large fast.

3. Press GIF

   next to Export (Pro).

4. Download

   and paste it where you need it.

Keep GIFs small

• Under 10 seconds.
• Zoom in so only the relevant part is visible.
• No camera bubble or background blur.
• For anything longer, use MP4 or WebM. They're many times smaller for the same quality.
