Record with your camera
- Turn on 📷 Camera
in the Zoomr popup (Pro). Pick the camera and a circle or rounded-square shape in Settings.
- Start recording
with Ctrl+Shift+E (on a Mac, ⌘+Shift+E). A small self-view window with your camera, timer, pause, mute and stop appears. It is never part of the recording.
- Click 📌 Keep me on top
in that window so it floats above the browser. Chrome requires that one click before any window can stay on top.
- Record as usual.
Your camera is recorded at 720p alongside the tab.
Change it after recording
In the editor's Style tab → Camera bubble:
- Move the bubble by dragging it on the preview; resize with its corner.
- Change shape, size, border and mirror.
- Hide the camera for parts of the clip (shown on the timeline's Camera row).
- Switch layouts for sections: Bubble, Side by side (screen above camera in vertical video) or Full camera, with smooth crossfades.
- Blur or remove your background. This runs on your computer with Google MediaPipe; nothing is uploaded.
Tips
- Put the camera at eye level and the light in front of you, not behind.
- Put the bubble where it won't cover buttons you click. You can move it later anyway.
- Use Full camera for your intro and outro, and the bubble during the demo.
