ghp_…,github_pat_…) and other API keys on screen are blurred automatically. - Use a private browser profile without personal repos if you're recording for a public audience.
- Increase the font with Chrome zoom (Ctrl++) so code is readable in the video.

and explain the why, not just the what.

to deep-zoom on the changed lines you're discussing.

Turn it into a written GitHub guide
Repo tours and settings changes (branch protection, Actions secrets, environments) turn into great step-by-step guides. Export Markdown and commit it to your docs folder.
Tips for GitHub recordings
- Split long PR reviews into one clip per file group.
- For README GIFs, record 5–8 seconds and export GIF (Pro).
- Use Full screen guide images for navigation and Zoomed-in for settings toggles.
