How to remove mistakes from a screen recording

1. Play to just before the mistake

   and press S to split.

2. Play to just after it

   and press S again.

3. Click the section

   between the marks.

4. Press Delete

   (or the Delete button in the timeline toolbar).

Your voice, camera, text and captions all follow the cut, so nothing drifts out of sync. The cut shows as a red hatched block; click it to bring that part back.

Tips

• Leave a short pause before and after you restart a sentence. It makes clean cuts easier.
• Watch the cut once. If it jumps, nudge the split a fraction earlier or later.
