Private information is blurred on the page before it is captured, so it never reaches the video or screenshot file. It's on by default. Choose what to hide in Settings → Privacy blur, or turn it all off with the 🛡 Privacy switch in the popup.
- Passwords: every password field.
- Emails: email addresses in text and in fields.
- Cards & IBAN: card numbers and bank account numbers. Each is checked mathematically (Luhn for cards, mod-97 for IBANs), so order and tracking numbers aren't blurred by mistake.
- API keys: Stripe, GitHub, AWS, Slack, Google, OpenAI/Anthropic keys, JWTs and private keys.
- Payment forms: card fields and payment frames from Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, Adyen, Square, Klarna, Paddle and others.
- Phone numbers: optional, off by default.

Limits
Zoomr can't look inside embedded content from other websites (except the known payment providers) or text drawn on a canvas, such as cells in Google Sheets or Figma. Use Alt (Option on a Mac)+click, or a blur area in the editor. Matching text blurs its whole line or box.
